June 12, 2004: "Synaesthesia" at The All-Purpose Room (#8 in the Public Market, off N. Union St.) Synaesthesia is a collaborative project combining aural and visual art in a common space. I will be showing three images which will be on display for the duration of the performances from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The All-Purpose Room is an art and performance space in the Rochester Public Market. They are open during Public Market hours and also for performances.

March 1, 2004-June 13, 2004: "Serotonin" at The Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave.) This is a show of six of my images which I believe convey a feeling of uneasiness. The show is named Serotonin because it is a spike in serotonin production in the brain that causes drowsy perceptions and illusions called hypnagogic hallucinations. Nora Coleman will also be presenting some of her photographs.

The Bug Jar is a bar that specializes in musical performances in a wide variety of styles. They have a gallery in the bar area where they present artwork from local artists. They're open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday through Wednesday, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday. Since this is a night club, there is a cover charge for shows, but if you let the door guy know you're just there to see the photographs (or for cocktails) that charge is usually waived (they are pretty lenient about it as long as you don't abuse the privilege—you can always pay the cover to see the show.)
